Paulette M. Walls is a native of Los Angeles,
California where she completed her formal
years in education and still considers “home.”
She is married to the love of her life Cedric, who
is also an educator in Austin Independent
School District (AISD) and the proud mother of
two boys; Cedric Jr. and Mitchell who both
attend AISD schools.
Paulette has 18 years of experience as an
educator, working primarily in AISD at the
secondary level. She began her professional career as a middle school
Social Studies teacher. She is currently entering her 13th year as an
Paulette received her BA in Political Science from Clark Atlanta
University in Atlanta, GA and her MA in Public Administration from
the Daniel J. Evan School of Public Affairs at the University of
Washington in Seattle, WA with a focus on Education and Social
Policy. She received her teaching and administrative Alternative
Certification from Region XIII.
She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and singing in the
church choir. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and
enjoys participating in service events and activities. Her mottos are,
‘It is what It is’ and ‘You cannot control, what you can’t control.’
Ultimately, it is important to make the most of every moment.
