NOTICE: Because of on-going repairs at Bowie related to the recent winter storms, the SAT School Day administration originally scheduled for March 3 has been moved to Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
Prior to arrival, students will need to download the AISD Screen & Go app on their phones and should arrive with the “green checkmark” displayed.
11th graders with last names A through G 8:10 am
11th graders with last names H through Q 8:20 am
11th graders with last names R through Z 8:30 am
The 11th Grade SAT will begin promptly at 9 am. Including the pre-administration portion, it will take approximately 4 hours to complete. Students should be finishing around 1:00 pm; parents providing transportation should plan accordingly. Students who drive to campus may park in the front lot or in the parking garage, even if they do not have a Bowie parking permit. Students may not remain on campus after testing concludes. Remember, March 24th is a remote asynchronous learning day for all other students.
Upon arrival at the canopy in front of the school, students will have their temperatures checked and will be directed to their test sites. 10 or fewer students will be at each test site in order to follow COVID protocols. SAT testers must wear masks at all times and are expected to practice social distancing.
Students should bring a photo ID or be prepared to confirm their ID in Frontline using their phone.
Students will need to bring their own sharpened pencils (no mechanical pencils) and should bring their own scientific or graphing calculators. No scratch paper is allowed on the SAT. The school will not be providing calculators.
Students should also eat a good, healthy breakfast, bring water bottles, and consider bringing a small, individually wrapped snack that can be eaten quickly (like a protein bar) during one of the brief breaks provided during SAT testing.
There is no make-up for the March 24th SAT School Day Exam. Students who are absent will have to register and pay for a regular SAT administration.
