Student Device Information:
What do I do if there is an issue with my device or wifi hotspot?
There will be three curbside locations at Austin HS, Andrews Elementary, and Crockett HS. Please contact the AISD Helpdesk (512) 414-8324 for info on locations and hours.
What do I do if I no longer need or want my wifi hotspot?
Please bring it to your local campus or to a curbside location if your campus is closed for the summer.
The AISD Technology Department will be reaching out to students who have been issued hotspots that have not been in use for the past six months.
What do I do if I will be changing campuses within AISD for 2021-2022?
You may keep your device (and hotspot, if applicable) during the summer and bring it with you to the new campus in the fall.
What do I do with my device (and hotspot, if applicable) if I will not be returning to AISD for 2021-2022?
Please return it to your local campus or to a curbside location if your campus is closed for the summer.
What do I do if I will be enrolling in AISD for 2021-2022, but I am not currently enrolled?
Devices cannot be issued until the student has completed enrollment. The campus will have devices and hotspots to issue once enrollment is complete and in time to begin the school year.
How can I help support my student in making wise choices and with device usage and demonstrating digital citizenship as they interact with technology during the summer months?
