You may have heard that we have some new faces in the Counseling Department this year, five to be exact!!! Mrs. Michener could not completely break away and has joined Mrs. Luckett in our College and Career Center! Yea, what a great team!!! We will truly miss Mrs. Halweg, Mrs. Bell, Mrs. Kelley, Ms. Graham, Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Haley and wish them the VERY BEST as they each embark on a new adventure. While it is hard to say goodbye, you can rest assured that you are in good hands for the future. As soon as the dust clears here in the office, we will post a brief bio of each counselor so that you can get to know them a bit better.

Students are assigned to counselors according to the student's last name. Select the appropriate tab below for contact information.

Dear Bowie Parents,
You and your student are very important to us. Your time is important to us also. Bowie has an approximate student/counselor ratio of 500 to 1 and the calendars of our counselors are quite full. We ask parents to make appointments. If you need to meet with your child's counselor, please contact her directly so that she can schedule adequate time to address your concerns. We have an "open door" policy for students to drop by before/after school or at their lunch. If the counselor is not available at that time, students may leave a note at Mrs. Ashburn's desk.
As always, let us know if you have an emergency situation and we will assist you immediately.
