Naviance/Family Connection

Students and Parents,
We are asking that all students change their log-in and password for Naviance Family Connection for security purposes.  Student log-ins for Naviance Family Connection will be the same as student log-in for computers on the Bowie campus.   Log-in and password MAY STILL BE your student id number in both fields: log-in and password. Once you have accessed your student information, please click on "Manage My Account" in the turquoise header where your name is and change your log-in and password as follows:

The new log-in will be:  Upper case S AND your student id number
The new password will be: Upper case first letter of last name AND your birthdate in MMDDYY AND lower case s

Example:  Mary Poppins with student id 123456 and birthdate 04/11/93
log-in = S123456
password = P041193s
 If you have any questions, please call us at 512-841-4107.   Stop by the College Center -- we are here to help and we'd be so glad to see you!

Through Naviance you can learn about your learning styles, your personality and career interests, and the colleges that might be the best match for you. It is a tremendous tool...take advantage of it!!!

Naviance/Family Connection is designed to help students do some research on their personality type, career choices, and post-secondary options.

  • Communicate with Guidance and College Counselors via email.
  • Sign up to attend college presentations at your high school under "visit schedule".
  • View GPA & Rank* as well as test scores, which are updated periodically.
  • Research post-secondary options from college & career to work and volunteering.
  • Use the College Search and College Compare tools. This resource can help students locate colleges best suited to their strengths and help them narrow their choices by comparing schools of interest.
  • Perform scholarship searches and scholarship applications.
  • Locate Financial Aid help.

We encourage all students to use this tool to help them make good choices for their school courses and for their plans after high school.
