Project Graduation 2010 Parents
James Bowie High School (JBHS) Project Graduation
is an all-night, chaperoned, substance-free celebration for the
graduating seniors of JBHS. The purpose of this party is to congratulate
the seniors for completing their high school curriculum as well
as to provide a safe, enjoyable environment for these students on
their graduation night. It is hoped that these young adults will
carry into the future the message that a good time can be had without
the use of drugs and alcohol.
Organization of this event takes many volunteers
who begin planning and working as early as now and with the
assistance of the 2010 Project Graduation Booster Club Officers
we will make this a very successful event for OUR graduating class
of 2010!!

Meeting Minutes
General Meeting May 2, 2007
- Meeting was called to order by Lisa Gutierrez, at 6:35pm.
· Members in attendance: Susan Gorishek, Vickie
Grant, Carolyn Merritt, Caryl Ayala, Ernie Lopez, Shelly Chasey,
Sherri Gonzales, Lois Goss, Connie Brewster, Lisa Gutierrez, Kirk
Hubbell, Lori Sanders, Leigh Cox, Mark & Sheryl Morgan, Terri
deClairmont, Lynne Ballman, Crystal Fite, Susan Coe, Cyrus Walton,
Rona Walton, Gina Pounds, Carrie Turlington, and Melissa Moreno.
· Treasurer’s Report
o Beginning balance $1325, membership $425, pizza $2056.18, donation
$4.00, and the new balance is, $3810.18.
· New Business
o Bulldogs and Hotdogs will be held on September 8th 2007. The 2010
committee will have two tables set up, one in the front that will
be a non- food table, and one in the back that will be a food table.
At the front table we will have membership forms, and sell memo
pads, stationary, I-pod covers, or flash drives; decision pending.
Suggestions to be sold at the food table are: kettle corn, funnel
cakes, cotton candy, pizza, corn dogs, snow cones, doughnuts, and
Chic-Fil-A.
§ A vote was taken to select the top three items chosen to
sell at the food table, provided finale approval from Bulldogs and
Hotdogs committee are: candy, pizza, or cotton candy. Two items
chosen as second options are: doughnuts or kettle corn. Only one
item out of the top choices will be sold. The committee will approve
the item only if it is not being sold by another organization or
booster club.
· Old Business
o Pizza/soda Fundraiser
§ Remaining soda was sent to Bailey Middle School to use at
their dance. A check will be given to the 2010 committee in the
form of a donation from Bailey.
o Membership – see treasurer’s report
o Yahoo Group - 725 members to date.
o Re-visit software game fundraiser. Fundraiser will take place
over the summer. View minutes from March 28th meeting, accessible
on the 2010 website, for more details.
