Philharmonic performed beautifully today, receiving straight division one ratings on stage! Their sight reading performance was energetic and dynamic, and their score was a division two.
Sinfonietta orchestra opened the UIL festival for our entire region. These young musicians earned sweepstakes, division one ratings in concert and sight reading!

103 medals were awarded to members of the Bowie Choir who participated in the UIL Vocal Solo and Ensemble Contest at Dripping Springs High School this past Saturday. Both the Show and the 2 Jazz Choirs received 1st division ratings.
Also, the following 18 students received 1st division gold medals on their solos performances and will advance to the State level in May : Candice Ashburn, Miles Barker, Alex Bretoi, Alyssa Bugg, Daniel Cooper, Christina Fernandez, Holly Harkrider, Nick Lambeth, Lauren Langston, Rodrigo Lloreda, Travis Mattingly, Stacey Mead, Jessica Nicely, Aubrey Sansing, Amanda Schnelle, Angela Schnelle, Christina Tannert, & Amber Ward.
The following 12 ensemble members also made a 1st division and will advance to State: Candice Ashburn,Miles Barker, Jonny Blackburn, Alyssa Bugg, Aaron Conrado, Daniel Cooper, Rodrigo Lloreda, Christy Peterson, Lauren Poe, Emma Nichols, James Salazar, & Aubrey Sansing.
The following 10 students received 1st division gold medals on their solos performances as well: Kailyn Alvarado, Brooke Beasley, Maya Carillo, Holly Davis, Hannah Huerta, Meghan Hammack, Isabella Hernandez, Caitlin Inman, Allison Johnson, & Kelly Rogers. Please help us to congratulate these outstanding young singers. We are so proud of them!!
