"Resolutions"

What's the point? Another year gone. Another year here. BIG deal...

It's all in your perspective of course. It's up to you what you do.
You can make a conscious decision to change something in your life for the better or not. You decide.

Below are several Bowie student examples of various styles of poetic montages.

3

This three day assignment has two sections.

One, write a paragraph entitled "Resolutions". What does it mean to you?
What are some of your resolutions? If you don't have any, make some now.
You can write in any style you prefer. You should include portions or all of your writing with your images.

Two, create a "New Year Resolutions" montage that represents what your poem means to you.
Your images should be symbolical of your resolutions or poem.
Include poetic stanzas and descriptive or symbolical words in your montage.
What do you want this year? What do you want to achieve or acquire? How do you want to grow and change?
Make it meaningful!

It should be considered an artpiece with both parts (images & words) combined creatively.
Your grade will be based on an effective concept, creativity, apparent effort, techniques used, and overall success.
